Monoi d'Tahiti - Made by steeping Gardenia (the Tahitian plant) flowers in pure coconut oil. It contains natural antioxidants and vitamins to nourish and protect the skin and is an extremely effective moisturiser. Skin appears fresher and firmer following use. Genuine Monoi d'Tahiti is protected by a guarantee of origin to prove it's authenticity and it is this that is used in this cream.
Rose Absolute - Produced from the petals by the enfleurage method. Expensive due to the production method and the quantity of petals required, however, it is concentrated and powerful so only small amounts are needed for therapeutic benefit. Rose has a beautiful and feminine aroma that is emotionally uplifting. It has fantastic skincare properties, being soothing, toning and astringent, hence 'uplifts' the skin. It is particularly suited to drier, sensitive skin types.
Macadamia oil - Organically produced in Italy. Rich in palmitoleic acid which occurs naturally in the skin (but reduces with age), the function of which is to maintain moisture levels. Macadamia oil is therefore an excellent moisturiser.
Sunflower oil - produced in the UK. Rich in linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid required for healthy skin. Nourishes and softens skin, is easily absorbed, makes the cream 'light' and enhances absorption of other ingredients.
Natural Vitamin E - A potent antioxidant to promote healthy skin growth and keep lines at bay. The Vitamin E used is natural and extracted from non GM crops.
Emulsifiers - Needed to 'hold' oil and water together as a cream and stabilise it. Have skin moisturising properties and improve products feel on the skin. All are derived from plants, either coconut or rapeseed.
Preservative - Has to be included, otherwise the product would go mouldy in days. The system used in this cream is safely established in cosmetic products.
Aqua, Helianthus annus seed oil (sunflower oil), Polysorbate 20 (emulsifer), cocos nucifera and gardenia taitensis (monoi d'tahiti), cetearyl alcohol, glyceryl stearate, Macadamia tetraphylla (macadamia nut oil), tocopherol (vit E), phenoxyethanol, carbomer, potassium sorbate, sodium hydroxide, Rosa damascena (Rose absolute). Citral, geraniol, citronellol and d-limonene occurring naturally.
